Adopt-An-Elder Holiday Project

Beginning in July and culminating in December, Hugs for Health provides step-by-step guidelines for both senior care facilities and volunteers to participate in a successful and rewarding Holiday Project. The Adopt-An-Elder Holiday Project provides gifts for elders with little or no family, whose holidays would otherwise be sparse.  Elders' requests are provided on "wish lists" and distributed as scrolls on "Wish Trees". Individuals, families and groups are invited to "Adopt-An-Elder" to provide gifts and   encouraged to continue to visit throughout the year.
